A Maui cookie company is getting a lot of love from world-famous rapper, Ludacris.
That woman is Mitzi Toro, the owner of the Maui Cookie Lady.
The Atlanta rapper performed at the Lost in Paradise Concert in Kapolei on Saturday and on Sunday, he booked a flight to Maui for Toro’s fresh-baked cookies.
Ludcaris posted the whole thing on Instagram and said stopping by the bakery has been on his bucket list ever since his co-star, The Rock recommended it.
Toro tells us she met Ludacris on the runway and brought him a batch of the “Half-Baked.”
“He was so gracious and kind. He spent about forty minutes with us, brought his own camera and took pictures. The best part of the day was when he introduced me to his mom. He facetimed his mom and introduced me. It was just incredible. Felt so honored and humbled,” Toro said.
You can order cookies online, but the social media exposure has been so good for business, Toro says they are sold out through September.
Her cookie Instagram account gained about 30,000 followers thanks to posts from the Rock and Ludacris.
